Blog #27: Snow, Snow, Snow

Our ski resort town has recently endured 3 snow storms. The plows which keep our roads clear also create multi-foot berms. It is impossible to see over many of these 15+ feet of snow banks. Our ski Mountain workers are still digging out the chair lifts, parking lots and building entrances to provide safe accommodations for guests. We expect another snowstorm soon. Then, after this next storm, the weather forecasters say we will get a breather. I am looking forward to some fabulous, consolidated snow for winter fun! The photo I have posted was taken in early evening as snow fell across those berms and partially obscured buildings, trees and roads. I tried out my new Olympus 40-150mm f2.8 micro four-thirds lens. Full-frame equivalent is 80-300mm. I managed this shot at 300mm.
