Blog #25: Yellow Mules Ear and Arrow Root Blooms in a Meadow

On this recent Spring day we drove on an unmarked dirt road with the idea of finding the Ll’l Walker Lake trailhead. The “oo’s” and “ah’s” came in unison as we turned the corner and saw bunches of yellow Mules Ear and Arrow Root blooms spread out before us. We immediately stopped the car so we could get out and start photographing. Unexpected beauty like this happens frequently here in the Eastern Sierra.
