A little change of pace today – we went on a fascinating educational tour of Cuba six years ago. The country had recently opened its doors to American tourists as a result of successful negotiations with the two countries. One of many experiences involved walking in Old Town, Havana. Mansions of by-gone days have been since turned into apartment buildings. Artists have created sculpture gardens where chickens like this one freely roam the streets. We gave this one a wide birth – just because. I managed this photo, emphasizing his colorful red fleshy head and piercing yellow eyes.
